ThreeJars has actually helped make them ["my kids"] more responsible. With chores, special projects, earning, saving money and most importantly how to share their own money. They have even told friends about this. My daughter is so PROUD of herself, she took this experience in to share with her classmates.
Her teacher was very impressed.

When I looked into the website and saw all of the investment, saving and goal-setting features, I was blown away...that stuff was exactly what I wanted to be able to show them

I loved how my kids got involved in their own finances, but still left me in control of their money. It was a way for them to see their accounts grow and see the impact of their spending. Elayne, New Jersey (Parent)
I like the flexibility it provides. As a parent I can add money, take money away, or change distribution any time I see fit to do so.

I have had the opportunity to use ThreeJars with 2 of my children for a few weeks now and I have to say that we all LOVE it! It was so easy to set up and took me only a matter of minutes.

I donated to Plumpy'nut because in science class we learned how our bodies need essential nutrients, and Plumpy'nut is a good way to get those nutrients to kids in need.

ThreeJars has allowed our family a great resource to help our kids learn how to save, spend and share. We have always casually talked to them about those things, but to have it all there for you was so amazing. You will love it!

The fact that I can respond to funding requests on my blackberry by simply typing "yes" or "no" is brilliant!

There are so many benefits to this system, the most important one being the ability to talk to your tot about money in a meaningful and understandable way. www.totsnob.com (Blogger Review)
The runner-up for best feature is the communication capabilities.
My kids love sending me notes and I love replying. Lily, Washington (Parent)

You set up your child's account with a starting allowance and place different % into each SAVE, SPEND, and SHARE account. Set up chores and projects, upload a photo, if you like, then you are ready to go! It's that easy.
Gotta love that.

ThreeJars is so much better than our old allowance system. We had a spreadsheet for keeping track of our money, but it never worked because my dad always forgot to pay us.

My children needed to start getting an allowance so that they would learn how to handle, own, save and grow money.
Thanks ThreeJars! Emily, Maryland (Parent)

I like ThreeJars because now I'm more in charge of my money. I can save for something I really want.

The thing that first got my attention about ThreeJars was that it filled a very big void - it offered a way to show the kids money trickling into their account, accomplished the ThreeJar concept, and kept track of their balances, making everything nice and neat.

We don't really live in a cash society and I liked teaching my kids the concept of "online banking" through ThreeJars.

Kids can even add their two cents when it comes to choosing where ThreeJars should send its monthly charitable donation.

This is the type of online service that children can really learn long lasting lessons about money and finance. ThreeJars definitely gets the seal of approval! A must for all parents with school age children.
