Your organization and tracking system is awesome

Spending habits are formed early and run deep, which is
why they are so difficult to change. It's critical to get the
basics right.
On ThreeJars, kids can only spend what's in their Spend Jar
although they can visually see IOU money in their Save and Share
Jars. That's important because kids then develop a habit for not
spending everything they have.
On ThreeJars, kids set spending goals for things they really want, track their progress, and learn to delay
gratification. Simple and bright visuals remind kids of how slowly money trickles into their Spend Jar and how
quickly it can run out. Kids get the picture of how money really works.
And yes, spending "mistakes" can happen (if you let them) but it's better they happen when dollar amounts
and consequences are low. Those lessons last a lifetime.
